    Hello,

We are trying to get the comments for blog posts to display on our blog home page, and we referenced this previous question on the forum: https://community.theme.co/forums/topic/display-blog-commenting-underneath-excerpts/#post-53634

However, when we pasted the code into the functions.php file, it did nothing. Any advice for how to get this to work?

    This is our website: http://www.teens.lvbaptist.org/lvbc-teen-blog/

    Thanks!

I added Disqus comments and I do like them, but I cannot get them to display underneath the posts on the blog page… How can I add comments beneath the posts on the blog page? Thank you!

    Hi there,

Thanks for updating. Blog page will just list the posts there there is no place of adding the comment usually. Comments usually works on single page or post but if you try to add comment on Blog page somehow with custom code; there will be one instance of comment for the whole page NOT for the individual posts. So it’s not usual and won’t be possible without custom development because of the nature of WordPress comment system.

    Hope this makes sense.
