benkinneycoParticipantOn http://benkinney.com/brokerage/bellingham, whenever I try to add a section or block template, all the content disappears and with the template it says “Uh oh! Could not load template.” The Theme and WordPress are all up to date.
Any idea what it could be? Maybe the Google Map on the page is somehow related?

FriechModeratorHi There,
Thanks for the credentials, most of the time this happen because of a unclosed html tag. I did go ahead and check that page and did I not see any unclosed tag. But I see your Google maps has an issue with API key, please reset/regenerate your Google map API key.
Let us know how it goes.
Cheers!

benkinneycoParticipantYeah, I’m having the same thing happen on all pages like that (all sections disappearing when I try to add a section or block), and I’ve tried regenerating the Google map API key but the problem persists. Also, the map DOES show up on the live site, but it keeps saying that error in Cornerstone. What could I be missing?

JadeModeratorHi there,
Would you mind temporarily deactivating all your third party plugins while we do some further checking?
Thank you.

benkinneycoParticipantI deactivated almost all of them, but I don’t want to lose Contact Form 7. Is it okay if I leave that set up? If it’s still causing problems, we can temporarily deactivate it.

LelyModeratorHi There,
I did check some of your page without Google Map and the content doesn’t disappear when I tried to add section. See attached screenshots. It only happens when there is Google Map. Please try disabling the Contact Form 7 and check again just to make sure that it is not the cause of the issue. The error I am seeing is still the same.
Google Maps API error: MissingKeyMapError https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages#missing-key-map-error
API key you have provided is not working.September 16, 2016 at 11:05 am #1178356
benkinneycoParticipantThanks for helping me troubleshoot. So it’s good we’ve narrowed it down to the Google Map element (I tried it without Contact Form 7 and it still had the error). Is there a specific type of Google Maps API that’s known to work with Cornerstone (Javascript, Embed, etc. – see screenshot)?
