How can I add custom text while hovering an image … with cornerstone or the grid plugin
I am now using the grid but I can’t add custom text on hovering .
Hey there,
1. Choose Media as source for your Grid (see http://theme-one.com/docs/the-grid/#!/media_settings).
2. Add Caption for each of your image (see http://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-add-caption-to-images-in-wordpress/). This will be used as your image text.
3. Use the Lisboa skin because this will show the caption out of the box (see http://theme-one.com/docs/the-grid/#!/skin_settings). You can then edit this skin to remove the title or the image filename. Alternatively, you can build your own skin (see http://theme-one.com/docs/the-grid/#!/skin_builder).
The result will look like this.

Please edit your Essential grid skin. Click on the link icon and make sure that it is link to a url and you insert a custom url. See attached!

I am using “The Grid” not “Essential grid” plugin … And I am telling you that the caption doesn’t appear on the image on hovering ?
and there is no option of ” Media ” as a source .
isn’t there an easy way to make text appear on the image on hovering by cornerstone ?!… I think that may be better
