xxdaixParticipantHi There
I was running my website which I had build in Theme X and cornerstone…I updated Word press and it crashed my site. I also needed to change the server the website was hosted on. I was able to see the content but could not log into the wordpress backend to make changes it was the HTP 500 error.
I am now up to speed with a fresh wordpress, Theme X and Cornerstone install. I was able to download the ‘wwwroot’ folder containing my old wordpress set up from my old server to my desktop.
Is it possible to transfer the content, Words/Pictures/layout to my new fresh install?
I’ve looked through all the folders in the wp-content folder on my desktop to see if there are any obvious folders I can upload to the server I am hosting the fresh WordPress wp-content folder on but cannot see any that would contain my content.
Please help, Thanks Dai

xxdaixParticipantThanks for your reply.
Unfortunately the migration guide isn’t useful in this instance, As I couldn’t access the WordPress WP-Admin Dashboard once the upgrade crashed. The site was still visible I just couldn’t get into the wordpress backend to make any changes.
I was however able to connect to the server via FTP and download to my hard drive the wordpress folder and content, this is now on my hard drive (see attached screen shot)
Since then I have transferred to a new server and have performed a fresh install of WordPress and the latest Theme X theme and the latest cornerstone, and was wondering if there were some folders and files I could replace with the ones from my desktop that would save me the time of adding all my content again…
Thanks Dai

Paul RModeratorHi,
You can try this third party plugin instead.
Duplicator – Backups & Migration Plugin – Cloud Backups, Scheduled Backups, & More
Hope that helps.
