Charlie CampbellParticipantGood afternoon! I did a bit of digging in the kb and forums for this but am coming up short-handed.
Is there a way to add a Google Font to the X Customizer (similar to how Punch Fonts does for Revolution Slider)?
Thanks in advance for the answer. Apologies if this is addressed elsewhere already.

Nabeel AModeratorHi Charlie,
Thanks for writing in!
We’ve already included over 600 Google fonts in X theme, you can find them under Appearance > Customize > Typography. If you still want to add a font that is not included in X. You can just copy and paste the font link to the _header.php file, you find this file here x/framework/views/global/_header.php. Since this is a core file change, please setup a child theme before editing the file.
Let us know how this goes!

Charlie CampbellParticipantThanks for the quick response. 600 is an overwhelmingly fantastic selection but I am looking to add a specific typeface not already included in your set.
I’ll set up a child theme as you suggest. I appreciate the specific direction. It may have taken a bit to suss out the file path on my own.
I’m sure others have already suggested this but interfacing with something like Punch Fonts in the admin panel would be awesome for less code-savvy folks.
Cheers! Keep up the good work!

ChristianModeratorThanks for your feedback Charlie. We’ll take this as feature request and might include it in a future release.

mivilobosParticipantI am new to this, so forgive me, is the only way to change fonts by doing something with the code/CSS? I know enough to know I shouldn’t touch that stuff, but I want to change my fonts!

ChristopherModeratorHi there,
Adding custom font requires some customization, please check this thread : https://community.theme.co/forums/topic/merriweather-google-font-problem/#post-219525
Hope that helps.
