    Hi,

    I would like to add experts to blog index pages that are generated by short codes.
    I would like to use the short code feature as it gives me more flexibility over the layout design.

    I have followed this post to some success:

    I have added a child theme, added functions.php and the last bit of code in that support feed.
    What I have now is excerpts showing below featured images in the masonry gird style, but ONLY on the home page.
    Doesn’t show on blog feeds generated by short codes.
    I have added enable_excerpt=”true” into the short code with no effect.
