johnnyisaacsParticipantHi there, I am developing a site locally and I would really like to be able to add a custom header and an area I have just above the footer like on the file attached to overall blog page. No other pages. Just the blog landing page. So there will be a header at the top that looks like this and that same discover section at the bottom. Is this possible?

FriechModeratorHi There,
Thanks for writing in! It could be possible with custom development, but this would be outside the scope of support we can offer. You may wish to consult a developer to assist you with this. X is quite extensible with child themes, so there are plenty of possibilities.
Thanks for understanding.

johnnyisaacsParticipantThanks for getting back to me. Developing themes is not a problem for me. The only issue I am having is where to find the necessary files to change. It is all so nested that it is tough to find. So for example if I look at the page.php file where I’d expect to get the general page layout it is requesting to get stack. So where do I find this stuff? Really appreciate your help!

johnnyisaacsParticipantTo add to this. I have found the correct files in the stack and duplicated them into my child theme folder but none of the changes are being reflected. I am at a bit of a loss. I have put them in the main child folder and in the frameworks folder in the appropriate place. Not sure what I am missing here but it seems no matter what I do it is being overridden.

RupokMemberHi there,
If you create duplicate file on Child Theme for the appropriate file then it must work unless your code is not correct. Unfortunately we can’t assist you on such customization; but if you need to find the right file for any specific element then let us know. We’ll try to pint the right directory/file.
Cheers!
