    Hello,
    We want to clarify a simple detail. Upon purchasing Theme X, does it include a license to keep ACF Pro updated? Or it’s a non-updatable copy of it?

    Hey There,

    Thanks for writing in!

    ACF Pro is an integrated plugin of X theme. Kindly note that all the integrated plugins are free of cost with the theme itself. The plugins will be updated to their respective newer versions and you don’t need to pay anything to do so.

    Alrighty, so it’s normal that I cannot update the extension? It will be updated by itself at some point in the future when updating Theme X? See attached file.

    Hello!
    I paid closer attention to the documentation. I believe we did it right for the most part, but it still doesn’t explain to us if the provided extensions are supposed to be updated automatically or not. See attached files.

    It seems like yes, they should be, but it won’t let us do so unless we activate it as shown in the attached file. (we tried the Theme X purchase code) The extension was installed through the Theme X Addons menu.

    Is this normal behaviour? Thank you for your precious time!

    Hey There,

    Thanks for writing back!

    Somehow your site must have been invalidated.

    If you go to your licenses page, (ACCOUNT > LICENSES) you can check your Purchase code. Make sure it is set to the same URL as your WordPress site URL. If your site URL changes for any reason, you’ll need to update your purchase code again.

    Hi there,

    Apologies for not being clear. You don’t need to activate ACF in order to update the plugin. Right now, the update option is not available in the plugins page because even if the most recent version of ACF is 5.4.6 in the vendor’s side, the most recent tested version and supported by the theme is still 5.4.5. Once we released an update for 5.4.6 on our end, you should be able to update the plugin.
