dabbevdbrandParticipantHi there,
Ive got a few questions regarding my blogpage:
First of all here’s the link http://www.duizenddingen-hosting.nl/esprit/blog/
1. How can I change the text in the heading and subheading?
2. How can I change the size of the post images? As you can see it doesn’t look quite nice right now.
3. In the footer, how can I get the 3rd widget to have the same fontstyle and spacing as the 2nd menu widget?
Thanks so much!

RupokMemberHi there,
Thanks for writing in!
#1. Please edit your category archive title and description – http://prntscr.com/b8zak5
#2. It looks nice to me so not sure what you are referring. It would be better if you specify what you are trying to accomplish.
#3. 3rd widget is a custom menu and 4th widget is recent posts entries. So you can’t get exactly same design for both of them. However you can make it similar in term of spacing with the below CSS :
.widget.widget_recent_entries li { padding: 20px 0 0 10px; }Hope this helps.
Cheers!

dabbevdbrandParticipantThanks for the quick reply, everything is clear.
One other question though, can I add a certain amount of preview words to the blogs and add a button that will say “lees verder” which means read more in dutch.
Thanks!

RupokMemberHi there,
Thanks for updating. You have already excerpts on your blog but it’s white because you have set the content color to white from Cusotmizer – http://prntscr.com/b8zh5t
Let’s adjust the body content color from Customize > Typography – http://prntscr.com/b8zhei
Hope this helps.
Cheers!

dabbevdbrandParticipantYes it helped!
#1 Do I have control over what is in the excerpt and how long it is? Now it shows the text of my social sharing cornerstone element.
#2 How can I show 2 posts next to each other on the blog page? There no overview the way it is shown now.
#3 how can I add a sidebar with recent posts widget that is only shown when reading a blogpost.
Thanks

Paul RModeratorHi,
1. You can change excerpt length under Appearance > Customize > Blog > Content
http://screencast.com/t/NuwRnUeNEMm
2. You can set your blog to 2 column layout under Appearance > Customize > Blog
http://screencast.com/t/1NYje34Rj
3. Set content layout with a sidebar under Appearance > Customize > Layout and Design
http://screencast.com/t/lZceN71eRe
Hope that helps

dabbevdbrandParticipantThanks I found it, though the excerpt lenght doesnt work, as I said before it give the words from the social sharing element in cornerstone rather than the first 60 words of my blog.
