catalystcrParticipantI have X them and have been trying to make some edits to my menus. Whenever I press the “Save Menu” button I get a 404 page not found error. I tried disabling all plugins and got the same result. Any help will be appreciated.

FriechModeratorHi There,
Thanks for writing in! Please Install the Cornerstone first, just navigate to Addons panel and X|Theme will install the Cornerstone automatically to make sure that this is not an compatibility issue. Then deactivate and delete the x-shortcodes. Cornerstone is taking over for X – Shortcodes, which you can read much more about here in detail. Then clear your browser’s cache and any caching plugin that the site might have.
If this does not solve the issue, Provide us login credentials in private reply.
Hope it helps, Cheers!

catalystcrParticipantYes, it looks like the demo menu is working fine. My Primary Navigation Menu is still not working. Whenever I click “Save Menu” I get a 404 page error.

Paul RModeratorHi,
You could try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

catalystcrParticipantThank you, Paul. As stated in my original post, I already tried that and it did not help. Any other suggestions?

Paul RModeratorHi,
Upon further investigation, please try checking with your hosting provider on this particular issue as it sounds like something related to your setup is causing this. Typically, this is due server configuration problems (i.e. underpowered, traceroute issues, packet loss, permissions errors, et cetera). Additionally, your host will be able to diagnose things much better due to the fact that they have a more complete view of your account and can work behind the scenes with you. If the problem you are experiencing persists after working with your host, don’t hesitate to let us know and we will be happy to assist you. Any relevant information that you can share with us from your host is also greatly appreciated as it will help us to better ascertain the source of the problem.

catalystcrParticipantThank you. I checked with my host and they said it was triggering a firewall or something when I tried to save the menu. They are going to write an exception to try to get it to work.
