Sandy PParticipantHello –
I created a Slider with a background image as a splash screen on my page and it woks fine. I created a second transparent one with an image and text that is visible as you scroll down and it appears like it’s supposed to, but then fades off. I cannot get the timeline to “snap” to the end like my first one. I have tried dozens of combinations of solutions and can’t fix it. It appears that when I change my timeline, that changes my animation easing, and vice versa. I just want the animation to do its thing and STAY on the page. Sounds easy but I can’t make it happen. Help please?

Sandy PParticipantWell, I have a Construction page up that I will remove for the moment. The url is pacificgrooming.com.
As for bumping the thread, a lot of other newer posts than mine were being responded to and mine was not. I’ve spent 2+ days working on this issue without resolution, and I thought 5 hours was a bit lengthy for a response, nonetheless, I won’t do it again.

JadeModeratorHI Sandy,
Please go to the Slider Settings and turn off the setting Stop Slider After… so that the slider will remain as is after the animations are done.

Hope this helps.

Sandy PParticipantThat has been on the whole time and doesn’t work, the slide still disappears after it’s been on the screen for like 8 seconds or so, and doesn’t come back. I want it to stay after it animates in, like my first slide does, without that option turned on.

Rue NelModeratorHello There,
Thanks for updating in! Please do edit your slider and make sure that the main background timeline is the same with the rest of other layers. By default, the main background’s time frame should be much longer than others.

Hope this helps.

Sandy PParticipantYou’re looking at the wrong slider! That’s Slide #1 and it’s working perfectly. I’m asking about Slider #2 called Cages!! It won’t stay on the page after the animation – it won’t “snap” to end so it will stay on screen perpetually.

RadModeratorHi there,
It’s because your slide time is just about 1.8 seconds versus to 9 seconds on your slider settings. Layer animation ends early.
Thanks!

Sandy PParticipantThanks Rad. Now we’re getting closer! I was able to extend the time and the slide doesn’t disappear. But I still can’t get it to snap to the end like you did (the arrow symbol), and the animation is VERY slow now. It seems like it’s taking 9 seconds to perform the animation. What am I missing?

Rue NelModeratorHello There,
You should be able to click on the timeline and drag it to the end if you want to. Please keep in mind the longer timeframe means slow animation. Shorter timeframe means that the animation will load faster.
Hope this explains it.

Sandy PParticipantIt doesn’t explain anything.
You’re telling me that I can either have the slider stay on the page after the animation runs by snapping it to the end, or I can have normal looking animation, but not both? That is ridiculous. Purchasing this theme was a waste and this back and forth of not reading the question and subsequent responses over a period of DAYS without resolution is NOT “support”.
