Yoast SEO: SEO not available [SOLVED] + content is not been read [NOT SOLVED]

Hi. I’m not sure if Yoast SEO is finally working with Pro by Themeco (I have read in some post, that you were working to have support for it). Specifically, I can see:

Translation:

  • Readability: Good
  • SEO: Not available

Does it says “not available” because it’s not compatible with Pro by Themeco yet?

Thanks

Carlos

Hey Carlos,

Yoast SEO compatibility was released in Pro 2.1.0, X 6.1.0, Cornerstone 3.1.0. Please see our Changelog starting from that version. Here’s the link https://theme.co/changelog/#theme-pro-2-1-0-theme-x-6-1-0-cornerstone-3-1-0.

UPDATED: Allow Yoast to analyze pages and posts made with the content builder.

Shortly after the update, I’ve personally tested if the compatibility works and it is. See https://youtu.be/aI7MtNbOLSk

There is regretfully a known bug where if a Classic element is present in the page, it disrupts Yoast SEO’s analysis like in this thread https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/yoast-seo-does-not-recognize-text-in-pages-made-with-x-pro/42025/6

Thanks.

So how can I know if it’s actually fully working or not??

If any classic element is present in the page, it won’t work for sure?

Thank you one more time!!!

Carlos

Hello Carlos,

At the moment, it is a known bug that when a classic element is present in the page, Yoast SEO won’t be able to have a page analysis. We recommend that you use v2 elements instead.

Regards.

I mean, I’ve checked another page done with the WordPress editor (not Pro), and I also can read:

  • Readability: Good
  • SEO: Not available

So I’m not sure about how to check if Yoast SEO is working after removing the classic elements I see!

Do you understand my point?

Thanks for your awesome support

Carlos

Hi @educainventions,

I couldn’t replicate this issue on my installation, and since you said it’s the same with the Wordpress editor, perhaps you could contact SEO Yoast developer? Then let us know what’s going on so we could investigate it too.

Thanks!

I found the issue: I must set a Focus Keyword. After adding it, SEO is available:

(Translation: Readability: It needs improvement. SEO: It needs improvement).

However, it does not seem to be working well yet. If we read more carefully, we can see things like: "The text contains 0 words. This is below the recommended minimum of 900 words. Add more content that is relevant for the topic: "

I think I have removed all classic elements one by one, so I don’t know what could be happening exactly. Could you take a look for me, please? The website is https://www.edinventa.com/heromask-idiomas

Thanks

Hi @educainventions,

Sorry for the confusion, the one that being read usually are classic elements. But upon checking it multiple times, the legibility and SEO status are now good, but I did see that the first time I checked it. have you fixed it?

Thanks!

That’s weird, I still see “need improvement” in both cases. What URL are you seeing exactly?

The URL of the below image is https://www.edinventa.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=3634&action=edit&lang=es (or https://www.edinventa.com/heromask-idiomas/):

Thanks for your efforts

Hi Carlos,

The same page in your screenshot. Please check this

Could you test it with the account you provided to us?

Thanks!

You’re right. Also, if I edit the page with my user in incognito mode, Yoast SEO read it well.

So I guess it’s due to cache, CloudFlare or something like that.

I’ll continue researching…

Yes, it could be due to cache. Thanks for letting us know
