X-Gogle Analytics

Dear support,

I just install X-Google Analytics and put the tracking code scripts in it. However, after saving the content doesn’t show inside the page source. Can you help to check?

Cheers,
Ken

Hello Ken,

Thanks for writing in! Since you are using WP Fastest Cache, please clear the plugin cache first before testing your site so that your latest changes such as adding the script will be displayed in your front end.

Hope this helps. Please let us know how it goes.

Hi there,

I have already done that before contacting you and the result is the same when I check today.

Cheers,
Ken

Hi There,

Would you mind providing us with login credentials(by clicking on the Secure Note button at the bottom) so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:

  • Link to your site
  • WordPress Admin username / password

Thanks.

Hi There,

Here you are.

Hi There,

Could you please try updating your X theme and Cornerstone plugin to the latest version?

https://theme.co/changelog/

Thanks.

Hi There,

I don’t want to update the Cornerstone plugin at this stage. I can see the latest X-Google Analytics version is 2.0.3 but my one is 1.0.3. Could you please tell me where to download the latest version? In the plugin page it doesn’t have an update link to do it.

Cheers,
Ken

Hello @kanken,

Please note that X Google Analytics has been replaced by Google Analytics plugin. Looks like you have installed the plugin but haven’t activated the same. I suggest you to please delete X Google Analytics and use Google Analytics plugin. https://screencast.com/t/eKkGYwnlbSuS, https://screencast.com/t/FIlcCGfaN, https://www.screencast.com/t/rCKsagV6

We have published tutorial that you can refer: https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/extension-google-analytics/84

Thanks.

Thanks for the clarification. However, it is the same after setting up using Google Analytics plugin. I have already cleared the cache.

Ken

Hi Ken,

The Google Analytics code is showing up on the page source:

Keep in mind that Google Analytics code won’t be output if you’re admin login on your site (to avoid unnecessary hits)

Thanks,

Thanks a lot. It is really tricky…

Glad to hear we managed to help.

Cheers!

You’re most welcome.
