X – Facebok Comments

Hi! We had a the X – Facebook Comments extension set up on our website a year or so ago, but now I want to create a new “app” because I don’t know who holds the old one and therefor can’t turn on moderation.

I followed this guide (https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/extension-facebook-comments/83) but was stumped when asked for my domain. I pasted http://kglobal-dev.com/nppc-hogs/, which is my site’s URL, and got an error message:

Am I inputting the domain correctly? And, I’m not sure how to turn on moderation for this either. I’d like all Facebook comments to have to be manually approved by a user before they go live.

Hi There,

Before you enter your domain, first click on Add Platform, select website, enter your site URL. Save the settings.

Sorry to necro this thread, but I am experiencing the exact same problem - even after adding my current website URL as the platform. Trying to add that same website as the App Domain results in the same error as the OP. Any further suggestions? I really don’t want to have to switch to another comment system (outside of those provided in X).
