Hi Sandra,

Thanks for writing in! The most compatible plugin with X/Pro themes are WPML (https://wpml.org/), but it’s not a free plugin.

In case if you want to use WPML plugin, we recommend the following versions which are compatible with X/Pro themes.

  • WPML Multilingual CMS - 4.0.6
  • WPML String Translation - 2.8.6
  • WPML Translation Management - 2.6.7

The other alternative option would be to follow our translation guide here (https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/setup-translation/61).

As a note, WPML works just okay. It seems to only automatically pull for translation the Classic Elements (not all, but a good amount of them). Even trying to tell the plugin which elements to add manually does not really work that well, for example, I have not found a way to tell WPML that V2 Headlines can be translated.

For translations, just be prepared to do a lot of manual work, regardless of the plugin you choose.
