When will a Pro Theme Update, where 1-page Navigation works properly, be a priority?

Hello, I’ve been waiting for months on a Pro Theme update where navigation works on 1-page websites. Currently, as Support has stated before, “The One Page navigation functionality is not calculating the Pro header height due to the complex nature of the header builder and its options. Our development team is working to find a way to calculate the height correctly in all cases.” So Links scroll past where a section actually starts.

Also, on 1-page Pro sites, mobile menus do not work properly. Custom JS has to be added to make mobile menus actually close after you click a link. This presents an issue, especially if you have links in your header that activate a pop up, or you have a link in your header that you want to link to someplace outside of your website.

I want to use Pro’s amazing header and footer features on 1-page websites, but I can’t, because I have to do way too much to make something so simple like headers work. And because one of the last insensitive replies I got to this problem was “Just Wait for an update,” I have had to start using other WordPress themes to get my goal accomplished.

I have been a big supporter of ThemeCo for four years, have served many clients, had over 10 websites in the official X theme showcase, been featured on X theme’s blog and testimonials page, been featured on podcasts singing X Theme’s praises, and I can’t seem to get an answer to this. This is very disheartening.

I’m sorry for how this has been frustrating for you. Right now it’s partially working. If you set your link to an anchor, Pro will smoothly navigate to that anchor instead of jump. In Pro 2.1 we are adding “active link styles”. These will allow you to add styling for links that are the current page. It will also allow you to enable detecting if you’re viewing certain sections of the page (one page nav).

This is actually almost complete as it’s one of the first things we started developing for 2.1. Because it needs to be beta tested it wasn’t something we were able to include with the 2.0 release cycle. If you opt-in for beta testing you’ll be able to try out the new feature even sooner.
