Video is below title on Blog page

I have read the related posts to this issue and I have the post format set to video and I am on the Integrity stack.

Hello @Shaman22,

Thanks for writing in! I can see that you have selected a Video post format. You haven’t inserted the video source correctly which is why you are having a message “Video source missing”. Please input the correct video source and make sure that you have set up video post format correctly. Please check this Video Post Settings from this article: https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/meta-options-posts/143

By the way, by default, when using Integrity stack, the video is above the title of the post. You can check it right here:
http://demo.theme.co/integrity-1/blog/
http://demo.theme.co/integrity-1/affiliate-marketing-101-self-hosted-video/

Hope this helps.

Sorry for the late reply…

I was looking to add a new post, since the one you are looking at was loaded through a different theme…

When I go to add new post from the dashboard, that is where the title is on top and video is in the middle above the text.

Hello @Shaman22,

When using a video for your post, please check the Video Post Settings from this article: https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/meta-options-posts/143

Selecting the Video Post Format should display the Video Post Settings and will enable you to have the video on top of the title when you view the blog page. Can you please clarify which is what you want, is it Video on top of the title or the Title should be on top of the video?

Please let us know.

I cannot find Video Post Settings or Post Settings…

I find Writing, under Appearances…

I want the video on top of the title.

Thanks.

Hi Guiseppe,

You will have to set the Post Format of the post to video and you should get the option for video posts where you could supply the link to the video file:

Then you will get a result like this:

http://demo.theme.co/integrity-1/affiliate-marketing-101-self-hosted-video/

Hope this helps.

The file is also in the media library.

I supplied the YouTube link and get the same result.

See “test” post on my site.

Hello @Shaman22,

If you have the video in the media library, you will need to insert the direct url of the video.

If you have uploaded the video in youtube, please use the Youtube embed code instead.

To better resolve this issue, please provide us access to your site so that we can test it and take a closer look at your page settings.

Thank you in advance.

Hello @Shaman22,

As I have expected, you have inserted the incorrect url. Youtube link will not work. It must be the youtube embed code.

And then in the description, you may insert your text contents.

Please check your blog page now.

Hey RueNel

You’re awesome.

This is a totally different page to add or edit…

How did you change that?

I used the same code as you did, with a new YouTube link inserted and it won’t work.

I put it in the same spot as you as well.

Hello @Shaman22,

You have inserted the incorrect embed code. It should be:

<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/XHBv9bf-9ds" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe>

To make sure that you have the right embed code, please follow the steps on how you can embed the video.
