Unable to connect to Google Analytics

Hello,
I’m having trouble connecting to google analytics. I have tried several different plugins, I have tried the x theme google analytics extension, and I have tried installing manually into the general and theme header files. I still can’t get the analytics tracking code to verify. Let me know if there is any troubleshooting that I’m missing, or if anyone else has experienced this. Thanks,
Tony

Hi,

Please use x theme google analytics extension and remove any other plugins.

Follow our guide https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/extension-google-analytics/84

Then send us your site url so we can check why it’s not working.

Thanks

Hi,
I have removed all analytics plugins. I have installed and configured the x theme analytics extension. The list of plugins for this website is pretty small. All plugins are updated, and they have all been used with your theme without conflict. This is the list of plugins I have:

Cornerstone
Custom Facebook Feed
Duplicate Post
FormCraft Basic
Google Analytics
Photo Gallery
Redirection
Slider Revolution
Yoast SEO

I’m not sure if you mean I should disable every plugin on the website, but I’m going to have trouble disabling something like the slider revolution on the live environment.

Your help is really appreciated. Thanks again for your time and attention,

Hi There,

Currently there’s an issue when you use Google Tag Manager code inside X Google Analytics extension. Please disable X’s Google Analytics extension and then use a plugin like Insert Headers and Footers (https://wordpress.org/plugins/insert-headers-and-footers/) to add your analytics code.

Hope that helps.
Thanks!

Hello,
I have configured the plugins to remove the x theme analytics extension, and install insert headers and footers plugin. I have configured the headers and footers plugin with the tracking code. I still do not have any results. I did see this on a community thread and have already tried this in my initial troubleshooting. Are there any other suggestions or adjustments I can try? Thanks for your time,
Tony

Hi Tony,

I can see the code getting added to your site.

So I am not sure why it still doesn’t work.

Can you check real time data.
