Themco won't validate license, settings page looks corrupt

I have never used these forums, so first post. Thanks for having patience with me.

Trying to validate X theme on new site and the support page is showing up corrupt or different than normal.

I went to update the theme hoping that would fix it, but I can’t update the theme because the license isn’t valid.

I was able to login into themco and manage my licenses and add the site, but the dashboard isn’t showing it updated.

Hello There,

Could you please update to the latest versions?
Our latest versions are:

  • X theme 6.2.5
  • Cornerstone 3.2.5

This latest release contains fixes for several issues so be sure to check out the changelog (http://theme.co/changelog/).

_After doing the updates, always remember to clear all caches (if you are using WP Rocket, WP SuperCache or W3 Total Cache) when updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.-

If you were not able to validate the site, you won’t be able to update it via automatic updates. You will have to update it manually. Please see “Manual Updates” section in this article: https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/setup-updating-your-themes-and-plugins/62

Please let us know how it goes.

Hi @RueNel, thank you for the quick response

I was able to update manually, thank you and it is now able to enter my license.

However, I am now getting the error - “Your code is valid but looks like it has already been used on another site. You can revoke and re-assign within your Themeco account.”

I have assigned this license via my themco account to the new site: https://cambodiajobfoundation.com

What do you think?

Hello There,

To validate X properly, please do the following:
1] Please login to your account and assign the license (https://theme.co/apex/licenses). You need to assign the license to your site using this url: https://www.example.com/. You have to make sure that url you just assign is the same as the one you have in your settings, Settings > General > Site Address
2] Go back to X > Validation again, and insert the license code again.

And please review the changes that we made on how you are going to validated your X theme because we made a big change in the process. Please check it out here: https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/setup-product-validation/55

Thanks.

I was able to get it working, thank you

You’re welcome!
