Staging vs Production

I recently purchased an X license for my local development environment and it appears on the dashbaoad as to be production. How can I manage the license to appear as staging site. I can edit the fields but without any effect - data is not stored. Is my X license valid for staging and production or do I have to the revoke the license from the dev environment before going live? Is there any procedure when release the site to the public?

Thanks for asking.

There is not actually any set procedure when launching website. It’s more of a personal preference. Please note that each X Theme licence entitles you to setup two type of environments, Production and Staging. When you are developing the website then you can validate the dev or localhost URL in Staging environment and once development is completed and ready to launch, in that case you can switch to Production.
