Snippet Vs. Yoast

I’m using Yoast SEO Plugin while snippet plugin that comes along with your theme, should I use both Snippet plugin and Yoast SEO plugin?

Hi @sovann,

The snippets plugin is for the Google Structured Data, which tells Google about your business and what your site is about. The Yoast has more focus on the SEO and keyword related functionality.

I am not sure if the Yoast plugin covers that part of the spectrum. I found this article from their site but they did not talk about if the plugin supports the Structured Data or not.

So bottom line there is a Keyword and Structured data aspect of the SEO world. The Snippets plugins for the Structured Data:

And, from what I know the Yoast handles the Keyword aspect.

Finally, we are not the correct people to give you advice on which plugin to use in respect to SEO and it is important that you do your own research about that and decide upon as it is not a theme related issue.
