Replacing Social Media Icon in Topbar

A client has requested I add an email icon with the same styling as the social media icons in the Topbar.

Using the ‘envelope’ fontawesome icon would be ideal.

I have read a few other posts about replacing one of the icons but have had no luck through css.

Is there a more up to date solution to this?

This requires changes in the theme files. Before proceeding I suggest you to setup child theme. Here are the resources that you can use to download and setup child theme:

After that please add following code in your child theme function.php file to change email icon:
