Remove space at top of custom post

Hi,

I have a custom post type setup with Toolset and Pro. I have it how I want but there is still a gap above the image under the header. I cannot figure out how to get rid of the gap?

Thanks

Hello @wowflak,

Thanks for asking. :slight_smile:

You can add following CSS under Pro > Theme Options > CSS to remove the spacing:

.postid-357 .entry-content {
    margin-top: 0;
}

In above code I have used WordPress post id feature so that the changes are limited to the current post. To learn ore about post id feature, please take a look at following resource.

If you would like to learn CSS, I am sharing few resources that you take a look to get started with CSS and an interesting tool that you can use to speed up the development process.

Sometimes it can get a bit difficult to find out the right selector to be able to write the required CSS codes. A handy tool that can help you in this is Google Chrome dev tools. I am sharing the resource that you can refer to get started with dev tools.

Thanks, I was actually wanting to apply it to an entire custom post type, which I was able to by using:

single-artist .entry-content {
margin-top: 0;
}

Thanks for the links!

We are delighted to assist you with this.

Cheers!
