Product Reviews don't show in seperate tab but under product description

Hi there,

I have some issues with the product reviews tab and couldn’t find a solution for my problems…

  1. The product reviews tab is activated in my settings and shows on the single product page correctly, just like the description tab. But when I click on it, it doesn’t switch from description to reviews and I noticed that the reviews are always shown under the product description, no matter what tab I click on. Is there a solution to see the reviews in the Reviews tab without the product description?

  2. There’s some random code showing before and after the product reviews: [/x_tab] [x_tab class=“reviews_pane”]
and [/x_tab] [/x_tabs], I’d like to get rid of that. Maybe this has something to do with my first problem?

  3. Can I change the text for the “Reviews” headline (not the tab name, but the headline below that), “Add a Review” and the “Submit Review” button? As the website is in German I would like to translate that without having to use an extra plugin.

You can see the site with a sample product here: https://lernvonben.de/product/fotos-nach-rezept-fotografie-grundlagen-videokurs/

Thanks in advance!

Hello @Jaworskyj,

Thanks for asking.

  1. I can confirm the problem of tabs not working on my end. Please make sure that you are using the compatible version of WooCommerce. As of now the compatible version of WooCommerce is 3.4.2. You can take a look at our version compatibility guide for more information. Second, please try testing for testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time. Please take a look at version compatibility guide for more information. I am also sharing the link to our theme and plugin update guide that you can refer for some instructions on updating plugins.

2. I can confirm that the shortocodes are showing up on the website. First, if you see the screenshot the shortcodes is showing up in between Content and the Reviews Div. There might be a case of something breaking the implementation. Of late did you made any changes in the template? Also i suggest you to try switching from X Theme to default WordPress theme and see how it goes.

  1. Please take a look at the solution mentioned in following thread:

You also have the option to take a look at following article:

Please make sure to setup child theme before making any code changes. I am sharing the resources that you can take a look to get started in setting up child theme.
