Portfolio image item issue

Hi there,
I have an issue with a portfolio item. We want to add gallery to our web site but each item we added as an image looks like a video item http://mojzubar.eu/galeria/ Please can you check what’s wrong?

Hi Michael,

Please go to the Portfolio Item Setting and set the Media Type options to Gallery.

thank you for your reply. Unfortunately it didn’t help. I’m sending you print screen so there you can see that it still looks like a video gallery.

That video icon is coming from your custom CSS: http://mojzubar.eu/x/#/options?url=http://mojzubar.eu/galeria.

Please find and remove this custom CSS:

Thanks a lot it works. There’s a last issue after clicking on a thumbnail image doesn’t appear. There is only a blank space.

Thanks for updating the thread.

I can see the problem of blank space on my end. Please try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third-party plugins, and see if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

Regretfully, at this time I am not entirely certain what it is you would like to accomplish based on the information given in your reply. If you wouldn’t mind providing us with a little more clarification on what it is you’re wanting to do (a link to a similar example site would be very helpful, or perhaps some screenshots), we’ll be happy to provide you with a response once we have a better understanding of the situation.

Thank you very much for your reply. As you can see on the screenshots above normaly after click on the image from the gallery you should see a bigger image in a new window with a text descprition on the right. Unfortunately in this case http://mojzubar.eu/galeria/ when you click on the image from gallery there is only a blank space.

Hi Michael,

Upon checking your issue further, I see that you have updated Cornerstone plugin recently, but you haven’t updated your X theme which also create incompatibility issues.

Could you please follow our version information here (https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/troubleshooting-version-compatibility/195) and update your X theme and any outdated plugins to the latest version and re-test your issue again (https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/setup-updating-your-themes-and-plugins/62).

As you’re using a caching plugin, make sure to clear all caches before testing (https://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-clear-your-cache-in-wordpress/).

For further testing, please install the following plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/health-check/) which allows you to troubleshoot your site by disabling plugins and themes without affecting to your live site visitors. You can use the following example tutorial (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uEV9PXf9DGA).

Thanks for updating the thread. :slight_smile:

I checked the portfolio page and the code that should get pulled to display the images and other details are not showing up when I inspected the page in dev tools.

I would suggest you to try reinstalling X Theme and see how it goes. Try to delete the theme from Appearance > Themes. After that download a fresh copy of X Theme from members area or Themeforest.

Once you have downloaded the theme, follow the instructions mentioned in our Theme Installation and setup guide to install X Theme.

In case the problem is still there, then please share FTP login details in secure note. We will need to take a closer look at the setup.

Hi there,
unfortunately it didn’t help at all. We just changed a resolution of an image and this solved a problem :smile: it is really strange that this was the only issue.
