Any news on getting this implemented (as requested in this post: https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/template-overwrite-content/27488/3). I too am a developer who has to overwrite pages all the time and deleting all the content first is really time-consuming. If you’re wondering why I just don’t create a new page and start from scratch, then rename it, it’s because I have all sorts of other functions that reference specific pages by their page ID and creating a new page would obviously change the page ID and break my functions.

As of now I don’t have an update on template overwrite feature. However, the next release cycle is going to be focused more towards implementing the features that we have received from customers. You can read more in this post by @kyle:
