Need to redevelop a live site, offline

Hi

I need to redevelop a live site. I am currently using the Icon stack and want to change to the Integrity one.

The current site needs to stay live while i work on the design and layout. I have installed MAMP to work on it offline, but how do I manage this using the Theme without buying a new licence? Am I able to use the same validation codes?

Is there a better way of doing what i need to do?

Thanks for writing in!

You can revoke the licence and then assign to your local setup and continue with website development work. Once the development work is completed, you need to migrate website files to production server and validate again. Please note that you need to setup virtual host for local setup validation. Here is a video that will help you to setup virtual host with MAMP.

Thanks for getting back to me. If I revoke the licence on the current, live site, will this affect how it operates?

Sorry for the confusion here. Actually you don’t have to revoke your live site’s license as each license can be used to validate live site and staging environment.
