Mobile/Small width loses text of MAIN NAV in Pro and all else

I’ve got PRO

navigation on small width is crunched/broke.

I don’t know where the heck to set this and wish I could just DEFAULT to something that was basically responsive

Hey Gabe,

That looks like the Navigation Inline element and that element is not turn into a mobile nav button in small screens. You will need to hide it in small screens using the Hide During Breakpoints option.

Then, add a Navigation Collapsed or Navigation Layered element in its place. Hide the element in larger screens using Hide During Breakpoints again.

If you need a menu that automatically collapses into a mobile nav button, you will need to use UberMenu. In case you’ll choose this route, you just need to add the UberMenu shortcode in a Content Area element. See https://youtu.be/Dv7Oqkfk4BA

Thanks…

Thanks Christian. I really don’t know where I must have gone wrong. I certainly don’t care for this level of customization-- I much prefer a SIMPLE option (with less controls). I recall this being more automatic in older versions-- is this UberMenu really the direction? Can I just revert to something built in and simpler? Pro seems to be the problem no?

Hi Gabe,

Switching to UberMenu is not necessary. You can make sure of the features of the Pro Header.

Since the space available on the header area get’s smaller you have an option to use another element that it suited for mobile devices. Please add the Navigation Dropdown, or Navigation Collapsed, or the Navigation Layered to the header area then use the Hide During Breakpoints option that is in the Customize option of the element.

So kindly hide the inline navigation element to smaller views and do the opposite to the dropdown elements I mentioned earlier.

Hope this helps.
