I tried using the css in the menu system from a previous article about using mega menus and applied the code (x-megamenu col-4).
It did not change the menu structure to 4 columns under our Services tab.
The site is https://crossfieldheating.com. I will leave the css in and can supply credentials if needed.

Regretfully Mega Menu set up will only work for the default header.
Using megamenu will need you to stick with the default header.
If you have created a custom header, it will not work. You might need to use UberMenu plugin instead because this will work with the custom headers.
