MailChimp Integration Not Working; API issue?

Hi Themeco team,

I use your MailChimp integration on my site > http://www.honestyforyourskin.co.uk/

However the last 3-4 weeks I’ve seen a huge 90% drop in sign-ups.

After contacting MailChimp - this is what they said;

I checked our backend and I do see calls coming through to us, but since this particular integration is using API 2.0, I’m fairly limited in what I can gain from these calls. Mailchimp, at the time being, still accepts API 2.0, but we stopped supporting it in the beginning of 2017 in favor of the updated API 3.0 version.

I would definitely reach out to XThemes about their Mailchimp plugin and let them know that while Mailchimp can see these calls coming through, they are not having an effect in our system. This is resulting is any users who signup are not being added to your lists in a consistent manner, this could be due to system downtime on their end or some errors in the way they have their API set up.

I would also let them know that we at Mailchimp highly recommend that they update their integration to API 3.0 so that we can fully support it on our end and further assist with any troubleshooting.

It sounds like the issue is because the X theme MailChimp plugin integration uses API 2?

I’m keen to fix this ASAP as i’m loosing over 90% of my lead capture.

When do you expect it to be fixed by?

I’ve had problems with ConvertPlus in the past and would rather not use it again.

If the wait is going to be a long one - I’ll be considering switching my email service provider.
