Link to specific section on a another page within my site

Hello. I want a specific piece of text on my home page to link to a specific section of another page. I have applied these instructions (https://theme.co/apex/forums/topic/linking-to-specific-cornerstone-sections-on-other-pages/), but I find although it does link to the page I want, it does not go to the specific section I want. I applied an inline link to the text I want clickable:

{a href="?page_id=15#insurance"}Most Insurance Plans Accepted {/a} (squiggly brackets so you can see)

and applied an ID of “insurance” to the section on page_id=15

I am not sure why it will link to the page but not the specific section. Maybe you can point out something I am missing.

I am not sure if I had a glitch previously, but linking to the section with the #id works now. Thank you for your help.

Glad to hear it you managed to solve.

Two things to be noticed :

1- IDs cannot be repeated

2- IDs are case sensitive.
