    Hi all,

I was wondering if there was a way to create a link that will direct users to a specified Cornerstone section on a different page. For example, have a link on my About page that will bring users to the #x-section-4 on my Services page. I’ve tried this several different ways and it works but only if the current page doesn’t have a corresponding Cornerstone section.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi There,

    Thanks for writing in.

You can add the id of the section you want to show on the URL of the link to be clicked.

    For example,

    www.URL.com/yourpage/#x-section-4

Let us know how it goes.

    Thanks.

That only partially worked but I figured out another way to do it. For anyone else looking to do something similar you just set a custom section ID for the section of interest and then link accordingly.

    Absolute link:
    http://www.url.com/yourpage/#your-id

    Relative link:
    /yourpage/#your-id

    Thanks for the help.

    Hi There,

Inspect the section and you would see the ID field.

note: Ignore the Adv. Controls switch that I toggle on my screen-cast, as the ID field is visible by default on the latest Cornerstone version.

    Hope it helps, Cheers!

    Hi There,

Inspect or click the section part then add id on the id box in your section. Check attached for example.

    Hope it helps.

Let us know how it goes.

    Thanks.
