after update to 2.2.4 essential greed do not show more Instagram, the message is: Instagram reports: Please check the settings. I have to activate Essential Greed? How? :slight_smile:

Hey @thomas9999,

You don’t have to activate Essential Grid. There could have been changes in Instagram API. Please try creating and using a new Instagram API. Here’s the Essential Grid Instagram integration for reference.

Sorry to hear that. Please try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time. If that does not help, please give us WP Admin access in a Secure Note.

Hello There,

I can confirm that it is not working. I have tested it in my local install and it is now displaying a different setting compared to the previous ones.

There could be a conflict or this could be a potential with the plugin. I’ve submitted this to our issue tracker so the developers of this plugin will be made aware of it and will take action.

You have to generate a valid access token.

And you should authorize your site which is specific to the token you’ll be generating.

Hi there,

What’s your redirect URL assigned to your Instagram app? It should match on the redirect URL when you authenticate and generate the token. Plus, your Instagram shouldn’t be in sandbox mode, or else, it’s not going to be publicly accessible.

Unfortunately, we don’t have full-control over Instagram restriction so it will be a trial and error. Please try this one https://theme.co/apex/forums/topic/the-grid-instagram-no-way-to-get-token/, it’s much more direct and easy.
