How do I know which parent theme is the main one?

Hi,

I have 2 parent themes for the X Theme. How do I know which one is the main one?

The reason I’m asking this is because I want to update the X Theme to the latest version. The two X Theme versions that I have are 4.2.2 and 4.3.0.

An easy option would be to use FTP software like Filezilla and under /wp-content/themes/ parent X Theme folder (if you haven’t changed the folder name) should be X. You can delete other folder. To get started with Filezilla

You can also do following:

  1. Activate default WordPress Theme under Appearance > Themes.
  2. Delete both the parent X Theme.
  3. From members area, download latest version of X Theme.
  4. Under Appearance > Themes > Add New > Upload Theme select the file and install X Theme.
