How can I modify the Portfolio menu item in the Agency demo?

I would like to change the name of “Portfolio” in the agency demo to “Workouts” so that my links like this one will have “workout” instead of “portfolio-item”:

How can I change that? The demo makes a separate menu item for “Portfolio” on the Dashboard so I’m not sure if it can be customized or not.

Hi Maria,

Thank you for writing in, please navigate to X > Theme Options > Portfolio and change the Custom URL Slug then save.



Then to avoid a page not found (404 error) on portfolio posts, navigate to Settings > Permalinks and just save it without changes.

Thanks so much! That solved it. I hadn’t explored that area yet. Another more technical question since I noticed the buttons in that section. I’m going to display a button on each of my workout pages like this:

I would like these buttons to activate a pop-up so people will be prompted to enter their e-mail to download the file. Is it technically possible to have a pop-up activated when someone clicks on these buttons on each of my workouts and then they’ll get a specific PDF sent to their e-mail? The PDF will be different on each workout page. If this is too much to ask in this forum just let me know.

Hello Maria,

What you have in mind for the button may not be possible because the button was designed to be link to an external site. If you want, you may install 3rd party plugin ConvertPlus so that you can have a modal popup where the user can input there email and be redirected to the download page where they can download some files.
