How can I create the same slider as Ethos 3 landing page?

I know how to enable the Slider Revolution plug-in and download/upload the sliders however I am interested in the same simple slider as Ethos 3 landing page.

Hi There,

Please import Ethos 3 Demo content and it . will import the slider to your site, after that you can change your content by editing the slider.

It is still not the same. the slider that gets installed by the content contains pictures and it is not the same as the demo. it looks completly different. is there anyway I can get the same landing page as the deme?

The Ethos Slider is a post slider. To feature a post in the slider, you need to go to the Ethos Post Settings in the post editor. Please see the Stack Specific Post Meta Options section in https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/meta-options-posts/143 for more details

I would appreciate it if you pay attention to the question before replying. Yes, your answer would be the right answer if I was talking about ethos-1. As you can see in the demo, Ethos1 is using a post. can someone please let me know how I can have the exact same landing page as the demo. I would appreciate a detailed answer.

Hi There,

If you import the demo you will get the same lading page without the image. Only image place holder instead of the real image. You will get only homepage with image placeholders for standard demos. Try expanded demos, if you need full content with images including inner pages.

Regarding the slider it should import the exact slider in to your site. If not please provide us your website details to check what could be the issue.

Please provide following information:
Set it as Secure Note

  • Link to your site
  • WordPress Admin username / password

I’m sorry for all the confusion. Ethos 3 is a standard demo and sliders are not included in standard demos.

The slider though is a Fullscreen Hero slider with a text layer and a transparent background. You can learn more about setting up a slider in Slider Revolution’s Documentation.

The video then is setup in Slider Above Masthead feature of a page. Please see https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/meta-options-pages/144 for more details.

Hello There,

I have logged in to your site and I can see that there is a warning message when you edit a page in Cornerstone. This is because you have enabled the minify option in your W3 Total Cache. Please be advised that all the JS and CSS files in the theme is already minified. If you minify it again using the caching plugin, it will lead to corruption of the JS/CSS file which will cause an issue.

And ​we also recommend that you increase your memory allocated to PHP. To increase it, please edit your wp-config.php file and insert these lines:

define( 'WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M' );
define( 'WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT', '512M' );

You can add it before the line
/*That's all, stop editing! Happy Blogging. */

are you saying that there is no way to get the same landing page as Ethos 3??the demo does not provide the same Fullscreen Hero slider with a text layer and a transparent background??

then your advertising for the demo is not right!. with installing the demo content, I only get some of the features from the demo!!
