Header Widget

Hi there,
I am trying to figure out how to add an image slider widget to the navbar area of my site.

the page is: http://findthelead.co.uk/find-the-lead-2/?preview_id=54&preview_nonce=4b19d06331&_thumbnail_id=-1&preview=true

I used Huge-IT slider to make the slider, the shortcode is:

<?php echo do_shortcode("[huge_it_slider id='2']"); ?>

I want it to look a bit like this website’s homepage slider, http://www.dogwalkerscheltenham.co.uk/

Hi @Olex93,

Thanks for writing in.

You can use compatible revolution slider or layer slider extension of x theme to achieve the slider you want to recreate.

Check the link below on how to setup slider the plugins.

For revolution slider:

For layer slider:

Hope it helps.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks.

Great thanks for that - worked perfectly!

Next thing, I’m trying to use a shortcode in the header of my ‘Get in touch’ page - http://findthelead.co.uk/contact/.

I want to make the background of the navbar a functioning section of google maps. Basically how it looks on the bottom of the homepage (http://findthelead.co.uk/find-the-lead-2/) but just in the header area instead.

Can you advise me on how to achieve this?

Thanks.

Also - Can anyone explain to me why my page titles are not showing anywhere on the pages? I have made sure that the ‘hide page titles’ check boxes are not ticked in the editor.

Hi there,

Those URL only displays a 404 page and I can’t check any other pages to see the issues you’re getting. Would you mind providing the working URL?

Thanks!
