Google analytics question

Hello,

I have a question about installing Google Analytics for my website, www.thehaw.org. I’m not sure this is in the purview of what you can help with, but I figured I’d check. The site has an SSL certificate and security through Sucuri. Thus, it is possible to access the site with http or https. I realize that I’ve had Google Analytics installed to track the http version, after being very confused about my stats not looking right (I use Analytify). This means the https data has not been tracked.

How do I add the tracking code for the https without losing the one for http? Is it possible to have two installed?

Thanks for any help,

Katie

Hi there,

Our theme does not have an option to separate between HTTP and HTTPS modes. To add the Analytics code you will need to install the extension below from X > Overview menu:

As mentioned in the article above the extension will only add whatever code you paste in the script text area. It does not check for any kind of protocols.

I suggest that you ask about this from Sucuri service which will be more qualified to help you around regarding this.

Thank you.
