Google Analytics: Do not see Analytics Code Box

Hi there,

I’m referring to the helpful https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/extension-google-analytics/84 Google Analytics Extension page. Everythings good except…

It says to put the Global Site Tag codde in the “Analytics Code Box”. Except I do not see this box. I only see a box that says “meta data”. Is this where I put the code given to me by Google?

Hi Meghan,

Our apologies but the Google Analytics document in the Knowledge Base is not updated.

The new version has the Google Analytics ID, and the meta tag fields.

You just need to add the Google Analytics tracking ID that starts with UA- to the Google Analytics ID field.

Hope this explains it.
