Ftp of theme

Please help. The x theme is 18m in size. My host has extended my upload size to 20m. I cannot upload the zip file because i am getting an error message - The link you followed has expired. nothing has resolved this after going through all the forum answers. I now wish to ftp the file over using filezilla but i don’t know which files to ftp and where to put them so that i can see them in the list of installed themes on wordpress.

Can you tell me what folder they go into as my wild guesses have been wrong so far.

Regarding

Did you extract the x.zip file? Because that file is only 10.3MB (not 18MB). Download the x.zip file here and upload just that (Appearance > Themes > Add New > Upload Theme)

Theme Installation

If you opt to install the Theme via FTP, please find the Manual X Update Via FTP guide provided here, its the same method minus the renaming of x folder.
