First-time buyer problems. I installed type kit, uploaded two fonts through type kit, put my kit id in, change the fonts in templates, and I still don’t see a change. Please help.

Would you please kindly go to X > Launch > Options > Typography and deactivate the Font Manager setting, save the options, and enable it again and save again?
That should reset the previous default out of the box font and show the fonts you assigned to the font manager.
