Create Tabs to a Page within a Page

Hello!
I was trying to find out how to create something similar to the tabs on this website.

Downtown - The Austin Stone Community Church

Each campus has a tab where there is more information on each tab but it is almost going to a new page without going to a completely new page.

Is this possible with X?

Hi there,

You can not achieve that view with the theme, you can have only a simple Classic Tab view using the Tab element:

Or you can add a separate menu from Appearance > Menus and then add a Sidebar:

Then assign the Navigation Menu widget to it and select the newly added menu there:

Then inside the page, you can use the Widget Area element to select that sidebar and show it wherever you want.

Thank you! May I ask what it takes to create something like that? Is it just knowing how to code for it?

Hey There,

The example site is not using any tabbed contents. It is actually using different pages with a custom menu in it.

All Campuses displays the Campuses Overview page which is the parent page of all the campus pages. And then in each of the pages, he created a custom menu and add it before the contents of each pages.

You can recreate this in your site using X if you want to. Just set up the pages first. You can then go to Appearance > menu, create your custom menu and add the pages as your menu items. You may insert the menu is each of the pages and we can then add some minor cosmetics for the menu.
