Conflict on the front end

Hi, I’m unable to access/edit most of the items I’ve made in the footer or header builder. I’m getting the “conflict on the front end” message.

I’ve tried to retrace my steps; undo stuff, deactivate plugins recently activated, but to no avail. Any thoughts?

Hi there, thanks for the reply. I’ll check out some of the suggestions in the articles.I’ve been running Pro on this site for about a month, building it slowly, and not had issues until now. I’m not accustomed to this hosting site; Netfirms, but I’ll look for any caching settings there.

Sorry about including bad login credentials. These should work:

Thanks again.

Hello There,

Thanks for updating in! I have logged in and I can confirm that the builder is not loading. I can see some JS errors on the page (http://prntscr.com/fqxj9w). This could be a PHP memory exhaustion, time limit or a fatal error. Would you mind providing us the url of your site with login credentials so we can take a closer look and fix the issue?
To do this, you can create a secure note with the following info:

  • FTP Hostname
  • FTP Username
  • FTP Password

Thank you.

I appreciate you looking into this. Here’s the info you requested:

Hi there,

Kindly do not reply with FTP or other personal information directly to the thread. Please kindly use Secure Note functionality of the post instead not the Summary one.

I did that for you. I checked your website and cloned the primary header with no luck.

I also made the cache level to 0 in Settings > General > Endurance Cache. It seems you are using Bluehost and somehow they are doing a cache or minification which prevents the Cornerstone to load it’s assets correctly.

Would you please kindly contact them and ask them to check the mod_security and caching and minification from their side? Here are the guides you can share with them:

Thank you.

Hi, thanks for clarifying the secure note feature. I thought the “hide details” feature achieved the same thing.

The hosting service for this site, Netfirms, is not related to Bluehost, according to them.

The issue remains unresolved and I’m at day 5 of not being able to edit my site. Netfirms is working on it, and I’m out of my depth at this point. Fingers crossed.

The site is working again. Support at Netfirms disabled mod_security for the website by adding the following code in the .htaccess file:

SecFilterEngine Off SecFilterScanPOST Off

Thanks for your time and work!

Glad that the problem is resolved. Thank you
