Clicking X > Launch in my admin area goes to 404

Any idea why this might be?

I just updated from 4 point something to 5.2.5. Cornerstone no longer works, X > Launch goes to 404 and my footer content has evaporated.

I don’t think that’s the issue.

I just checked my FTP, and the /x/ directory is totally empty.

Did you check the following directory path and it’s empty ?
/wp-content/themes/x

If so try updating your X theme manually by downloading the latest X theme from your Envato account. You can follow this guide, if you haven’t done it (https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/setup-updating-your-themes-and-plugins/62).

No, that folder is there.

The thing that is 404ing are the X options that you click Launch the from the wp-admin area.

Did you try regenerating your permalink settings? Head over to Settings -> Permalinks section and select the option Postname and save the changes. Now test your issue again.
