Can't resolve this error: WARNING: You are viewing this page in an unauthorized frame window

I cannot use the Cornerstone editor because of this error. I followed all instructions in this thread: https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/warning-you-are-viewing-this-page-in-an-unauthorized-frame-window/49732?u=alanfowler
But it is still giving me the error even after the theme reinstall (via FTP). Please advise how I can resolve this issue to get to customizing.
Thank you!

Hi Alan,

Thanks for writing in! This issue could relate to your child theme customizations or any other customization that you have added to your site as well (for example custom JavaScript that you have added to your site). Here’s a similar thread due to customizations (https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/custom-script-in-header-causing-error-in-pro-page-editing-or-customization/2161).

To troubleshoot this issue further, please disable your child theme temporarily, activate your parent X theme again and test your issue again. Please make sure to clear all caches when testing your issue (https://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-clear-your-cache-in-wordpress/).

If you don’t have an active child theme, then try removing any custom JavaScript that you have added to your site and test this issue further.

If the issue persist, then you need to disable your 3rd party plugins as well except Cornerstone plugin, and then test your issue further.

If you’re still having issues, please provide us with your WordPress login credentials in a secure note to check your issue further.

Thanks!

Thank you for the help. I tried all of your advice and at nearly the last test, I found the problem. In case it helps anyone else, it was the plugin “Tracking Code Manager.” With that deactivated, Cornerstone is now working properly.
Can you estimate a reason this plugin is causing this specific problem?
Thank you!

Hi Alan,

Thank you for sharing what was the issue, I just tested that plugin now but I can not replicate the issue, maybe there are other factors on this. Please confirm that you have the latest version of that plugin.

If the issue persists, please contact the plugin author as we cannot really provide support for 3rd party plugins.

Cheers!
