Can't get Superfly working at desktop

Installed at a staging site are X-Theme 5.2.5 and Superfly 4.3.3.
After activating the plugin I worked through the install to get it working, using as a help the pages at
Theme.co and this one.
No error messages appear, the Superfly icon simply does not appear at my PC monitor - I can see it at my phone but not at my desktop. And it should appear on all devices, should it?

Please take a look on SuperFly General settings.

If that does not help, please let us know.

facepalm … I had checked all options there… overlooked that checking would hide instead of showing them…
