BuddyPress plugin breaks edit with Pro

Brand new installation of X Pro with newest version, install Pro, Buddypress and bbpress and buddypress causes pro editor and theme editor to show “The preview could not load due to the iframe response being incomplete. This is most often related to a plugin conflict, or customizations introducing a PHP error.”

Hi @chrislolds,

Thank you for writing in, I was able to experience this issue on your site, but I could not reproduce this issue on my test site. And it seems the error is only happening if the page is draft, but not if it is published.

I’ve submitted this to our issue tracker so the developers will be made aware of it. For now, I would suggest you use the BuddyPress version recommended on our Version Compatibility page.

Cheers!

I’m using the version that X Pro installs from the Pro menu.

Hello @chrislolds,

We’ve submitted this to our issue tracker so the developers will be made aware of it. Once our developers figure this out and able to resolve this issue, it will be updated and rolled out in the next update release cycle.

For the meantime, temporarily deactivate the said plugin when you edit or create a new page with the Pro Editor.

Please bear with us.

Thank you.

You’re welcome!

Any additional news on this?

Hi @chrislolds,

We’re still looking into this.

Stay tuned.

Any ETA? I just want to get an idea of how long this may take?

Hello @chrislolds,

It’s a bit difficult for us to share ETA as we are not allowed to do so. However a good place to keep a track of latest product related announcement is our changelog page.

Thanks.

Hey @chrislolds,

You might have the same setup as in this similar thread: https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/live-preview-not-working/56400/6?u=christian_y

Thanks.
