Blog posts no longer editable in Cornerstone after latest update

We are no longer able to create blogs in cornerstone. And the new settings tab will not allow me to save a different role other than enforce text. I have flushed cache. It won’t let me change it at all. I will add my login credentials in private.

In the latest release, we have introduced the Permissions Manager where in the “Edit in Cornerstone” when you are editing a post is disabled by default. This was explained in our changelog here:

Simply go to X > Settings > Permissions and make sure that Post is enabled. Please check out Permissions Manager to know more how you can enable it back:

Hi Josh,

Thank you for providing the URL and login to the website. I went to the website and there is no problem using the Cornerstone for posts and I even added an exclamation point to the end of the latest post to make sure that it saves correctly.

So having said that, the second question I guess is about this:

Please consider that the option you referred to is a Macro, it is an automatic system to set all the below options in a certain way. You just simply can ignore that option and set things manually below which you already did and enabled the Cornerstone for the posts for example.

Yep, customer figured it out on Friday. I wasn’t able to do anything with it, but I told her how and she was able to do it and save it.
