When my site is displayed on smartphone or iPad, I see the Menu button however when I click on it nothing happen. The click event do not display the Menu. My website is www.adamday.us, please open this on smartphone/tablet.

Thanks for asking. 
It’s because on http://adamday.us/ you are using latest version of Cornerstone 3.0.4 while X Theme is old (5.2.5) which in-turn is causing compatibility issue. In that regards, please update X Theme to the most recent version 6.0.4 and that should fix the problem. I am sharing our changelog and theme update guide that you can take a look for further instructions.

How should I update the theme? I am trying to update it visit Theme X preference on my Wordpress Dashboard. But it is not updating automatically. Should I just copy paste the theme files to the folder? Or what I have to do? it is bit cumbersome

You do not need to manually copy and paste any theme files when you update if you have validated your theme installation.
Once you have validate the theme, you can simple update from the dashboard in few clicks.
I checked further and it seems that you have a Pro license but your site http://adamday.us/ is using X. Please note that you wont be able to validate an X site using a Pro license and vice versa. So if you want to validate your site, you will have to have Pro installed and activated and use your Pro license to activate your installation so that you can automatically update from the dashboard.
