After last update wordPress, the grid not runs…

( when I visit https://moblesgifreu.com/moradillo/ there are the links but can´t I see them)

Hey @Gifreu,

I see a Javascript error coming from WooCommerce 3.3.1. Please downgrade WooCommerce to 3.2.3 because that is the latest compatible version. Here’s the downgrade instruction.

Although your grid is not rendering inside Cornerstone it will render on the live site.

Thanks for providing the information. I have logged in and investigated your site. I created a test page an displayed on of your grids. It is working as expected. The test page can be found in the secure note.

Do you have a caching plugin installed? Or maybe your server has a caching mechanism which is causing this issue. Please clear all your caching before testing the site. I’ve looked around and found out that you are hosting with 1and1. This server may have Varnish which cached your site. You must clear the site cache and test again.

Hi Christian ,

I copied the response from 1 & 1 technical support.
They said there is not a cache problem. They think that this is the visual editor’s version “cornerstone”.
What can I do ?

Se ha comprobado que no se trata de un problema de cache del servidor ni de la página web.

El problema parece que lo está causando el editor visutal “cornerstone” de su tema, puesto que ali intentamos editar la página en el modo “frontend editor” se reproducen los siguientes errores js:

La página de test https://moblesgifreu.com/an-x-test está creada mediante el editor por defecto de WordPress añadiendo los correspondientes shortcodes de “the_grid”, por lo que no se reproducen errores javascript relacionados con “cornerstone”.

Parece un caso similar al reportado en el siguiente enlace, por lo que tambíen podría ser algún tipo de conflicto con otro plugin:

Hi there,

The $.TG_media_init is not a function error isn’t related to the cornerstone. If any faulty element or codes are added to cornerstone then that error will be traced back along with cornerstone. The provided logs above is just displaying the trace of where the error is triggered.

Are you on shared hosting? Because it’s a bit slow on my end when loading your pages. And please provide your FTP login credentials as well and let me check the error logs.

Hi there,

I checked the case and there seem to be a problem on that specific page and the fact that The Grid element is not working. I checked the same case on my installation of WordPress and the theme and it is working.

I added the second test page and used the Cornerstone to add a Grid item but this time I used the Classic Raw Content element and added the grid shortcode which you can find in The Grid listing. for example [the_grid name="Moradillo sofàs"].

So it is working ok and the problem is not Cornerstone as the hosting provider said.

The other point is that the page in question has problems and I could not even add the Raw content there. I suggest that you clone the page and delete whatever Grid Element you have there and add the Raw Content with proper shortcode there instead.

The other fact that might be the problem cause is that the page in question is too big and there are lots of sections. That might cause the hosting service provider fail by reaching the maximum PHP Memory Limit. I installed the Wp Server Info plugin and see that it is 512M which should be enough, but to be on the safe side increase it to 756.

Finally, I suggest that you do all the tests by deactivating all the 3rd party plugins except The Grid and Cornerstone to rule out any possible plugin conflict.

If you still have problems on the page you will need to recreate the page from scratch and use the Raw Content Element to add The Grid stuff.
